Floating Flameless Candles

1. Water-Activated Sensor (Most Common Type):
   • Many of these candles have water-sensitive contacts on the bottom.
   • When the contacts touch the water, the circuit is completed, and the LED light turns on automatically.
   • When you lift them out of the water, they turn off, making them easy to use.
2. Flameless and Smokeless:
   • They use a small LED bulb to mimic a candle’s glow, often with a flickering effect for realism.
   • This eliminates the risk of fire, smoke, and hot, melted wax, making them safe for use around children, pets, and in areas where an open flame is prohibited (e.g., event venues).
3. Waterproof and Battery-Powered:
   • The casing is sealed and waterproof, allowing them to float without damaging the internal electronics.
   • They are powered by small, replaceable batteries (usually coin cells like CR2032).

Common Types and Shapes

• Floating Tealights: The most common style, shaped like a standard small tealight candle.
• Lotus/Flower Shaped: Popular for festivals like Diwali or traditional decorations (often referred to as LED Diya or Deepak in India).
• Pillar Style: Larger versions that resemble floating wax pillar candles, often used in pools or large water features.
